751/752 Bardotka – Roco H0 Plux22 DPS 146924
Project Information
- The sound project is optimized for the Roco model with sound PCB spare part number 146924 and Plux22 connector.
- The sound project is designed for MS series 16-bit sound decoders.
- Recommended minimum decoder software version is 5.5.
- The decoder has a default address of 3.
- Reset can be performed by setting CV8 = 8.

Setting Maximum Speed
We recommend setting the maximum speed using CV57, not CV5. Setting the maximum speed via CV5 may change the sound range. Acceleration time CV3 and deceleration time CV4 settings are not affected when CV57 is used to set the maximum speed.
Shunting Mode
In the general project, marker lights are turned off in shunting mode. In models it is common to have marker lights illuminated together with the headlights. If this functionality is desired, enable it by setting CV37 = 3.
The mode reduces acceleration and braking times to one quarter of the values set in CV3 and CV4. If this behaviour is not desired, disable it by setting CV124 = 16. Complete deactivation of acceleration and braking times is possible by setting CV124 = 19.
If the shunting mode itself is not required, disable it by setting CV124 = 0.
The default shunting mode value in the project is CV124 = 18.
In shunting mode a short horn sounds at every start. This functionality is handled by a script.
Three conditions must be met for the short horn to trigger:
- The function itself must be enabled via F3.
- The engine sound must be enabled via F8.
- The model must start moving from zero speed.
Setting CV837 = 8 disables this functionality; the default value is CV837 = 0.
F5 Coasting vs F6 Engine Run-Up to Maximum RPM
If both functions are enabled, coasting takes precedence.
Compressor
The project includes two compressor activation modes, both handled by script:
- Random compressor activation dependent on the engine sound being enabled via F8. This turns off automatically when the compressor is activated via F17.
- Compressor activation via F17. This requires F8 to be enabled and the model to be at zero speed.
Setting CV837 = 1 disables compressor activation via F17.
Setting CV837 = 2 disables random compressor activation.
Setting CV837 = 3 disables both options; the default value is CV837 = 0.
Curve Squeal
Curve squeal is handled by script, and several conditions must be fulfilled for it to activate:
- The function itself must be enabled via F19, and the engine sound must be enabled via F8.
- The sound will not play at very low speeds; the commanded speed must be above 14 (within the range 0–126).
- The sound will not play at very high speeds; the commanded speed must be below 100 (within the range 0–126).
Setting CV837 = 4 disables curve squeal; the default value is CV837 = 0.
Custom Function Mapping
Custom function mapping is available via CV400 – CV428. The project itself does not use this feature.
Decoder Reset
It can happen that you make a mistake while configuring the decoder or get lost in the settings. In this case we recommend performing a decoder reset. Program CV8 = 8 to reset the decoder back to the sound project defaults.

Sound Sample Numbers
"Script" means that the corresponding sound is used in the script, outside of normal use within CV. The sound number is listed here for possible standalone use of the sound when the script is disabled.
